Benefits Summary
Medical Insurance
Employees have a choice of a PPO/Indemnity Plan or a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). There is a small charge for employee and dependent coverage.
Dental Insurance
Employees have a choice of a PDP/Indemnity plan or a Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO).There is a small charge for employee and dependent coverage.
Pre-Tax
Contributions for medical and dental plans are on a pre-tax basis which exempts the premium from Federal income Tax.
Life Insurance
Company paid. Equal to two times annual salary.
Optional Life Insurance
Additional life insurance may be purchased for you, your spouse and/or children at competitive rates.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Company paid. Equal to two times annual salary.
Insurance Eligibility
Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance upon hire, the additional above benefits are eligible after 3 months of continuous employment.
Short-Term Disability
Company paid. Equal to 60% of your salary for up to 26 weeks if you are ill or disabled. Non-exempt employees will be eligible after 6 months of service; Exempt employees will be eligible after 3 months of service.
Long-Term Disability
Company paid. Equal to 60% of your salary if your are ill and disabled for more than 26 weeks. Employees are eligible after 6 months of service and if they earn more than $18,000 per year.

Sensor Save 401(K)
Eligible following 90 days of employment and must work at least 1000 hours during the plan year. Pre-tax contributions are allowed from 1%-12% of pay. After-tax contributions are allowed from 1%-10% of pay. There are eleven funds to choose among a wide variety of investment choices. In addition, Sensormatic offers an employer match. Eligibility is the enrollment date, paid out bi-weekly. Sensormatic will then match up to 80% on the first 4% of your pre-tax contributions. Additional Company match and profit-sharing contributions will be predicated on Sensormatic achieving or exceeding its financial objectives.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan - (ESPP)
Employees are eligible upon completing 90 days of service and must work at least 1000 hours during the plan year. Sensormatic has contracted with Smith Barney to allow you to invest in Sensormatic stock through automatic payroll deduction for as little as $10 per pay period.
Credit Union
Employees may join the IBM Southeast Employees Federal Credit Union. They offer savings, checking, loans, etc.
Tuition Reimbursement
Eligibility for tuition reimbursement is after 90 days of service. Tuition is reimbursed at 100% for all passing grades. Maximum benefit per year = $3,250.00 for undergraduate studies and $5,250.00 for graduate studies.
